Mentat 2.3 script description:

Publisher review:
Mentat is a lightweight web content management program written entirely in strict Perl. Mentat is a lightweight web content management program written entirely in strict Perl.

It uses a flat, file-based database backend, thus circumventing the need for setup and configuration of an SQL database. Mentat was designed to be simple and flexible, and does therefore not sport a great deal of features. It does, however, have the following advantages:
- Easy to configure and set up
- Easy to use
- Runs in all environments with Perl
- Minimal requirements and dependencies
- Integrates visually with the website it manages
- Reasonably fast
- Small memory footprint
- Short, easily readable and easily modifiable code
Originally Mentat was conceived to work with the Apache webserver and has been thoroughly tested on Linux and Mac OS X. Requirements: · mod_rewrite or an equivalent web server feature · Perl 5.6 or later
